CAPRI YACHTING & LIVING – MORE THAN SUPER LUXURY

THE BEAUTY AND THE INNOVATION OF THIS 75 M SUPERYACHT SET A NEW INDUSTRY ERA. REVOLUTIONARY LAYOUT. SUPPORTED BY PROVEN EXPERTISE OF THE ITALIAN SEA GROUP, A TEAM OF INTERNATIONAL TALENTS DESIGN CUTTING-EDGE SPACE APPROACH AND YACHTING CONCEPT

The ability of The Italian Sea Group to build beauty, or better, innovative beauty, is undoubtedly well acknowledged worldwide. It is not surprising then, how the new 75-metre Admiral Kensho (74.85 lenght overall) is really unique. The owner’s team affirmed that this yacht “redefines the spatial constraints, distribution and luxury on a superyacht”. Here are some details proving how Kensho is able to set the new rules of luxury: interior ceilings are 2.7meters high; large 22 m3 beach area pool facing aft with transparent edges provides the feeling of swimming in the sea; the yacht is equipped with a state-of-the-art “Diesel-Electric” propulsion system, with permanent magnet electrical motors, granting a high efficiency and great power, with limited volume. To show how eco-sustainability is a fundamental aspect ‘the design has been developed giving important weight to the environmental perspective, not only in the respect of the “ECO” notation of the Classification Body, supplying the propulsion system with five variable speed generators, all equipped with antiparticle system so to optimise consumption at every speed and reduce emissions in the atmosphere’. Moreover, the hull has been developed by minimising resistance through the employment of azimuthal propulsion and retractable stabiliser fins. Giovanni Costantino, The Italian Sea Group Founder & CEO proudly underlines that thanks to Kensho “we confirmed our know-how and specific competencies in the construction of mega-yachts with such innovation and beauty. This motor-yacht represents a further achievement confirming our synergy with international professionals. Working on this masterpiece full of detail and research has been a wonderful experience for all of us”.

To carry out the conception of Kensho, her owner has assembled a fine mix of industry authorities and fresh- eyed newcomers to realize his vision. The design team – with exterior design by Azure Yacht Design (NL) in collaboration with archineers.berlin (DE), and interior design by Agence Jouin Manku (FR) – dared to imagine more. Encouraged by their passionate and inventive client, they’ve designed and delivered a ground-breaking unique layout that sets a newly minted standard for functionality. Technical Marine UK have overseen the project on behalf of the Owner from the start. Despite her remarkable tonnage, Kensho boasts a sporty design with tailor-made in-out furniture characterized by rounded and nature-inspired forms. The main deck is fully reserved to the owner (spacious full beam master suite has 13 meters depth) though being designed to offer elegant and intimate socializing areas to all guests, like the dining area where the tables may be optionally joint to create a 12-person dining table, directly connecting to the amazing living through glass sliding doors. Like the lower deck, hosting 5 guest cabins, three with double bed (and other two cabins are available on the main deck with floor-to-ceiling windows), this deck offers separated rooms with soundproofing space between walls. Thanks to the wheelhouse that is lowered, the upper deck becomes a wide single area for passengers who can enjoy an amazing 180° view from the forward living. Last but not least in terms of super-luxury design and comfort, Kensho offers a limousine tender featuring a retractable roof facilitating the practical passage to and from her garage, and also an integrated beach landing ladder for safe walking to the beach.
