A Refined Entry into the Admiral Universe

The Italian Sea Group announces the start of outfitting operations on Hull No. 1 of the new Admiral A-40, a project that represents a sophisticated entry point into Admiral’s world of high-end aluminium superyachts.
Although compact at forty metres, the A-40 has been conceived to carry the presence, composure and architectural clarity typical of Admiral’s larger vessels.

Developed in collaboration with The A Group and the Admiral Centro Stile, the A-40 features sculpted geometry, layered deck architecture and expansive glazing. This visual language echoes the brand’s 50- to 70-metre fleet, giving the yacht a sense of amplitude and stance rarely achieved in this size segment.

Every deck extends into wide exterior lounges, culminating in an elegant beach area close to the sea. This layout, seldom found on a 40-metre yacht, reflects Admiral’s approach to purposeful comfort and spatial balance. Crafted in Aluminium for Lightness and Silence

Entirely built in aluminium, the A-40 embodies Admiral’s principles of structural lightness, quiet cruising and architectural precision. The yacht’s clean lines and poised agility underline a design philosophy that privileges proportion, purity and equilibrium over mere dimensions

Marina di Carrara, December 2nd 2025 – Admiral Yachts (a brand of The Italian Sea Group) launches the first hull of the semi-custom Panorama 50 line at its headquarters in Marina di Carrara.

The steel hull and aluminum superstructure express the solidity and construction rigor that define Admiral’s philosophy and heritage.

Measuring 50 meters in length, with a beam of 8.9 meters and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, the yacht reveals her unique elegance. Her smooth, continuous profile suggests a natural balance between strength and lightness, while the extensive glass surfaces create a seamless dialogue between interiors and exteriors, enhancing transparency and the contemporary spirit of authentic Italian design.

The overall exterior and interior design were curated by Piredda & Partners, who interpreted the Panorama 50 with a contemporary and striking approach, in harmony with her naval architecture and the dynamic character of her profile. Behind her balanced and elegant lines lies high-level engineering: two CAT ACERT C32 engines and 118 eKW generators ensure a top speed of approximately 15 knots, delivering efficiency and comfort at the highest quality standards.

The innovative layout of the Panorama 50 has been conceived to offer an intelligent distribution of space and a truly unparalleled onboard experience. The yacht features 7 cabins, a rare configuration for yachts in this category, providing exceptional comfort for both owner and guests. The private suite on the upper deck, characterized by sweeping 180-degree windows, offers the owner a breathtaking panoramic view. In front of the suite extends a private deck designed as a true owner’s terrace overlooking the sea, a space dedicated to absolute privacy and relaxation.

The guest cabins, located on the main deck, reflect a distinctive design choice that ensures superior comfort for guests. The beach area is conceived as a wellness oasis facing directly onto the sea: the pool with transparent walls takes center stage, while folding balconies expand the space and create a platform at water level. The result is an atmosphere of pure, understated luxury, shaped by a sense of style and the pursuit of harmony.

The interiors stand out for their essential, contemporary elegance, defined by a palette of warm tones ranging from sandy beige to honey wood. Wood finishes, characterized by paneling and slatted ceilings, give the spaces an authentic charm and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.

The interiors embody two distinct souls, two different stylistic interpretations.

The first, created by Admiral Centro Stile, emphasizes the dialogue between light and proportion through clean lines and natural materials. The second, conceived by Piredda & Partners, celebrates the expressive nature of design through material contrasts, sculptural accents, and rich textures that turn every space into a gallery of forms and perceptions.

With the 50m M/Y Admiral Panorama, a new line is born, poised to grow and strengthen over timecomments Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group. “Thisyacht combines aesthetic balance, engineering solidity, and contemporary design, where innovation elevates the onboard experience.”

The launch ceremony of the first megayacht designed in collaboration with Giorgio Armani took place at the Marina di Carrara headquarters on May 7th, 2025. Attendees included the owner’s team, representatives of the Armani Group, local authorities, and the entire team at The Italian Sea Group involved in the creation of this masterpiece of design and naval engineering.

This yacht is the first of two entirely designed by Giorgio Armani, whose unmistakable style is immediately recognizable in both the exterior lines and the refined interiors.

A harmonious balance between minimalist aesthetics and advanced technologies, conceived to redefine the standards of high-end luxury yachting.

The stylish exterior lines reveal a strong architectural signature: here, geometric volumes alternate with curved surfaces, creating a dynamic yet rigorous structure. Satin aluminum and steel details reflect light in a sophisticated play of reflections, while large floor-to-ceiling windows open the interiors to the surrounding seascape.

The upper decks unfold like suspended terraces, with spaces designed to provide freedom and flexibility: from the open-air lounge to the helicopter landing area, every detail is crafted with both functionality and elegance in mind.

The interiors, designed by Armani/Casa, amplify the vision of the renowned designer featuring fine materials such as Black Marquinia marble, golden Calacatta, and Canaletto walnut blend with mirrors, handcrafted lighting, and selected fabrics, to create an intimate, sophisticated, and timeless atmosphere. A bold yet relaxed décor that combines discreet luxury with sartorial attention to detail.

Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group

The workshop highlighted the strategic role of the R&D department, emphasizing how innovation and customization are the pillars of the company vision. At the same time, it showcased how The Italian Sea Group is facing an unparalleled industrial challenge, with an extraordinary number of mega and giga yachts being built simultaneously—probably the highest ever recorded in yachting history.

To manage this complexity with efficiency and precision, the company has implemented an innovative Industrial Process & Planning, adopting advanced methodologies and software from highly engineered sectors such as automotive. This approach allows for a structured and effective organization of the entire production cycle, coordinating departments and optimizing every phase of construction.

Brokers had the opportunity to visit the entire shipyard, including the 3D design departments for carpentry and furnishings, a case probable unique in Italy. This approach ensures perfect integration between design and production, reducing margins of error and optimizing every stage of the high-customization process.

The visit to the internal Business Units, such as the Steelworks and Upholstery, highlighted a distinctive feature of The Italian Sea Group: the ability to carry out a significant portion of the work internally instead of relying almost exclusively on external suppliers. This model allows for direct quality control and continuous improvement in cost management and production processes.

The decision to carry out a large part of the work internally, combined with the exclusive use of 3D design, enables The Italian Sea Group to preserve and enhance its extraordinary heritage of know-how.

We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this first edition of Vision Broker’s Day. The event was an important opportunity to strengthen relationships with international brokers, create new partnership opportunities, and further consolidate our global presence. The high turnout and the interest shown by the participants confirm the value of our vision and capabilities.
