Marina di Carrara, June 03, 2026 – The Italian Sea Group achieved a triple victory at the 17th edition of The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026, promoted by Design et Al, to celebrate global excellence in style and architecture in the Yachting, Private Aviation, and Hospitality sectors.

The ceremony took place on May 29th in the evocative setting of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia in Venice, an exceptional location that hosted leading figures in international design.

In this context, The Italian Sea Group received three prestigious awards:

M/Y ADMIRAL | GIORGIO ARMANI: winner of the Master Cabin Award for the owner’s suite with its extraordinary stylistic coherence, in which the aesthetic language of Giorgio Armani meets the design and construction culture of Admiral;

M/Y ADMIRAL RAJA²: Awarded in the Best Motor Yacht Over 40 Meters category, developed and coordinated by Admiral Centro Stile, the project expresses the shipyard’s creative vision, expertise, and full construction capability;

S/Y PERINI NAVI KATANA: undisputed winner in the Best Sailing Yacht category, confirming Perini Navi’s prestige in the large sailing yacht segment.

“The awards received in such a high-profile international context highlight the true essence of The Italian Sea Group: a group capable of mastering diverse aesthetics, from contemporary motor yachts to signature sailing yachts, bringing them together under the same discipline of design, materials, and execution.”

Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group.

M/Y ADMIRAL | GIORGIO ARMANI, M/Y ADMIRAL RAJA², and S/Y PERINI NAVI KATANA express three distinct registers of the same construction culture: the rarefied and iconic elegance of the owner’s suite designed by Giorgio Armani; the sculptural and contemporary strength of a project entirely developed by Admiral Centro Stile; and the sailing nobility of Perini Navi, where tradition and technology find an extraordinary synthesis. This plurality of codes represents the Group’s distinctive feature: the ability to create yachts profoundly different in vocation, architecture, and aesthetic sensibility.

Venice, May 4, 2026 – The Italian Sea Group announces that Perini Navi’s SY Katana has won the Judges’ Special Awards at the World Superyacht Awards, organized by Boat International on May 2.

Set within the Arsenale of Venice, a symbol of Italian shipbuilding tradition, an historic crossroads between East and West, and a unique synthesis of beauty, SY Katana confirms her status as a benchmark in the world of sailing yachts.
A refined synthesis of advanced engineering and contemporary design language, in continuity with the Perini Navi heritage, the 60-metre ketch stands out for her taut and elegant exterior proportions. Her white hull recalls the brand’s earliest sailing yachts, reaffirming its identity.
This recognition follows the “Sailing Yacht – Best Interior” award received last February at the Kitzbühel Superyacht Design Festival, further confirming the design excellence and meticulous execution of the interiors by Rémi Tessier. Brushed cedar establishes a consistent material foundation, while teak, finished naturally, conveys a calibrated tactile quality, with surfaces offering both perceptual softness and visual depth.

The interiors are developed around a principle of material continuity and proportional control. Brushed cedar and teak run throughout the yacht, creating visual and tactile coherence between spaces, while leather finishes define areas of contact. Sliding doors in frosted glass with a metallic weave, together with palladium leaf ceilings featuring wooden inserts, modulate light and enhance a sense of depth and layering.
Lightweight structures, metal handrails, and floating steps engage in dialogue with the wood essences, while painted aluminum frames and details introduce a contemporary accent, maintaining an overall balance between materiality, light, and proportion.

“The recognition of SY Katana fits naturally within a design journey distinguished by coherence and quality. In a complex context, high-value material assets demonstrate enduring strength over time, reflecting a culture in which art, savoir-faire, and craftsmanship translate into complete and recognizable forms, capable of leaving a lasting impression and memory,”

Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group.

Marina di Carrara, February 2nd, 2026 — Perini Navi S/Y Katana has received her first international recognition at the Superyacht Design Festival, organized by Boat International, just a few months after her official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025. The jury awarded Best Interior – Sailing Yacht for the quality of the interiors and for the coherence with which the project interprets the onboard experience.

The interiors of S/Y Katana, designed by Rémi Tessier, are created on bespoke craftsmanship, precise control of proportions, and spatial endurance. The material language, manufactured around brushed cedar and teak, runs throughout the yacht, defining surfaces, wall coverings, and furnishings, complemented by leather paneling and palladium leaf ceilings. Natural light plays a structural role, filtering through large glazed surfaces and skylights, while indirect lighting enhances lines and volumes.

The main staircase is a central feature of the yacht, conceived as the spatial and distributive core of the interiors. Light structures, metal handrails, and floating steps are paired with fine wood finishes, while painted aluminum frames and details introduce a contemporary accent. The main saloon unfolds as a continuous and enveloping space, articulated by curved seating, integrated furnishings, and soft geometries. Leather upholstery, sliding satin-glass doors with a metallic mesh, and the palladium leaf ceiling enriched with wooden inserts contribute to a balanced and refined atmosphere.

The cabins, starting with the owner’s suite, express fluidity and a sense of openness through essential, integrated furnishings and enveloping finishes. Perimeter lighting accompanies moments of rest, and highlights the quality of the materials, creating environments conceived for absolute comfort.

The owner’s and VIP bathrooms complete the narrative with palladium leaf ceilings, walnut vanity tops, and ivory onyx shower cladding. Outdoors, teak furnishings with stainless-steel details and a sunbathing area with a teak-clad Jacuzzi create a seamless continuity between interior and exterior spaces.

The recognition received at the Superyacht Design Festival highlights S/Y Katana’s ability to integrate interior design, naval architecture, and technology.” comments Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group. “Every design choice stems from the experience of sailing and from a rigorous approach to space, materials, and proportions. The project restores centrality to the relationship with the sea, interpreted with discipline and absolute sensitivity.”

Designed for the owner’s company Gamma Yachts, S/Y Katana features an aluminium hull and superstructure. The carbon fiber masts and rigging were supplied by Southern Spars.

The yacht also includes a structural carbon bowsprit. Katana offers maximum efficiency, versatility, and safety. The retractable keel ensures excellent performance even in shallow waters. The dynamic positioning system allows the yacht to remain safely in position without the need for anchoring.

The interiors, designed by French designer Rémi Tessier and built by German firm Metrica – renowned for its top-tier interiors – express understated and refined elegance. Exceptional quality is revealed in the finest details. Every space is tailor-made, embracing a vision of luxury that favours discretion over excess.

“The delivery of Katana marks another step forward in our Perini Navi relaunch project,” commented Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group. “With this yacht, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence. Here, tradition and innovation coexist in perfect harmony.”

The result is an atmosphere of balance and harmony. S/Y Katana joins a series of recent deliveries and ongoing projects. It strengthens PERINI NAVI’s leadership in the large sailing yacht segment and further consolidates TISG’s position among the world’s top players in the industry.
