M/Y Admiral Galileo Outfitting

Marina di Carrara, January 30th 2025 – Outfitting activities are progressing at the shipyard in Marina di Carrara for the 82 m Admiral Galileo megayacht. The Admiral Galileo has been designed by The Italian Sea Group R&D department, in collaboration with the London-based Bannenberg & Rowell Design studio for the interior design.

65 sqm of solar panels have been installed on the deckhouse roof, capable of generating up to 12 kW instantaneously, with a total capacity of over 200 kW per day. This system is supported by a lithium battery bank, ensuring zero-emission power generation for over six hours, even under full on board load.

The catamaran is certified with a “green” class notation and is equipped with catalytic filters to reduce emissions and particulates from exhaust gases. Additionally, all maneuvers in ports and protected areas will be carried out in full electric mode.

Thanks to its powerful, fully automated sailing plan, which can be managed by a single person, the catamaran can sail at 10 knots even in very light wind conditions.

This prestigious award is a testament to our continuous commitment to both stylistic and technological innovation. With Perini Navi Art Explorer, we have proven our ability to lead in the large sailing yacht segment, combining cutting-edge design with sustainable solutions for a project unlike anything ever seen before—because no one had ever built it before.
