The Italian Sea Group: NEWGEN initiative kicks off, a major step forward for the entrance of new graduates within the Group

The Italian Sea Group has launched NEWGEN, a project designed to bring recently graduated students into the Group’s workforce.

NEWGEN, which started a few weeks ago, is going to continue on an annual basis for at least the next five years.

A growth opportunity

In detail, the project involves selecting 10 students, based on academic and aptitude criteria and mainly from the local area, for a comprehensive 6-month trainee program in the Group’s ‘Quality Department’.

During this internship period, the participants will come into contact with all Departments of the Company and will be able to follow, after an initial preparatory phase, ad hoc courses that will direct them towards specific roles to which they will be assigned at the end of the program.

“The NEWGEN project is an important preparatory opportunity for talented young people who wish to undertake a path of growth in an exciting and cutting-edge company like ours. Absolute attention to quality is one of our essential values; we have therefore decided to start this path of growth right from the department that guarantees it so that young resources can feel an active part of our system right from the start and share our way of interpreting work“.

comments Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group Giovanni Costantino.

NEWGEN adds to the offer of training activities that the Group has been consistently implementing for years, including courses organised by the TISG Academy for employees, students and suppliers in collaboration with the faculties of engineering and naval design of prestigious Italian Universities including Trieste, Naples and with Promostudi of the University of La Spezia.
