XTRA- THE ITALIAN SEA GROUP: M/y KENSHō
Launched recently, Kenshō is the new 75-metre superyacht of the Admiral fleet, flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group, global operator in luxury yachting, active in the construction and refit of yachts over 100 meters. Kenshō is not a simple name, it is a philosophy, a world, between a starting point and a destination. It is the physical representation of a vision, the perfect experience of a sea journey.
The Japanese word Kenshō consists of Ken and shō and stands for seeing one’s true nature, indicating the first intuition at the awakening or the enlightenment of one’s self. “Kenshō integrates the best ideas of residential design and marine design to create a new quality of life at sea”, explains the Owner, who personally supervised the design and development.
The soft and organic shapes and finishes of the superyacht are inspired by nature as a steady motif all over the yacht, with a 22.3 m3 swimming pool placed on the aft beach deck ensuring breathtaking views. When it comes to the interiors, a spacious full beam master suite can be experienced all open or subdivided for one level of intimacy, while guest cabins are 7 meter deep room and have a unique layout. The wide yet intimate main deck is for sharing magic moments, with comfort, luxury and cozy atmosphere.
The mix of materials used, including Teak, Marble, Onyx, Silk, Wool, Bronze and Glass result in a innovative yacht made of history, traditions, values, myths, and tales. The exteriors have been designed by Azure Yacht Design (NL] in collaboration with archineers.berlin (DE], while the interiors have been designed by Agence Jouin Manku [FR]. Technical Marine UK has supervised the project for the Owner from the very first moment, as Project Manager and Technical Surveyor.
“This motor yacht represents another success and highlights our capability to create effective synergies with international professional partners. Working on sucha masterpiece, so full of details and research, has been an amazing experience for all of us”- concludes Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group.
